1. Bought a home through a mortgage provided by Homespire Mortgage Corporation March 15, 2022. 2. In October 2022, they say they sent me a letter stating that in January 2023 my mortgage would go up by approximately $700 because of escrows. (Talk about price shock)! They are numerous issues with our mail and I never received that letter. 3. In January 29, 2023 at 8AM, an agent from Homespire Mortgage calls me stating that I haven't paid my mortgage $2,345 (I had paid it this amount) but because thy want me to pay $2,345 plus approximately $700, however, their system does not acknowledge any payments. 4. I spent over an hour with the agent who found that Homespire Escrow department had messed up how they were supposed to slowly phase in the escrow and they were going to investigate and get back to me (there's a recording of all of this). He assured me that they would not classify me as a 30 day late on my credit since the investigation would go into February 2023. 5. I received a 30-day late on my credit due to Homespire Mortgage claiming I had not paid my mortgage. They have not returned ANY calls even after I have spent about 4 hours with them. 6. As of March they have sold the servicing to ***** Mortgage however the 30-day late still stands. I disputed it with Experian credit bureau but they claim that it is valid even though Homespire did admit their escrow department were at fault.
