Requested 9 interior doors through ******. Contractor came out and only measured 8. Found out a week later that only 8 were measured. Contractor came out two weeks later and measured last door. This door had to be custom made. Had to wait three weeks for custom door. Contractor would not come out to install other doors until last one was received. ****** said they should've come out in the meantime. When door came in, only that door was installed. Contractor had no record of other 8 doors. Later they found the order. Had to wait 5 more calendar days to start the balance of install. 3 full days and only 7 doors were installed. Last door is a 2nd custom door that ****** lost. Supposedly contractor has it, I don't know. Of the 8 doors that have been installed, none are satisfactory. Some doors do not close at all. They rub against the frame. They squeak very loudly. Different trim was put up around different doors. Trim work cut short. Trim doesn't meet. Caulking and wood putty are tramped into carpet and floor rugs. Staples hanging out of framework. 5 door knobs not installed. Messy caulk and wood putty job. One custom-built door not measured right. Contractor actually cut **** inches of my wall away to install the door. Contractor also put the door in backwards. (Door swung in to coat closet instead of out). Carpet pulled up around two doors. Entire transaction began on 4/27/22. Contractor has not returned my calls or texts since 6/29/22 to schedule additional time to install last door and correct all problems. ****** has not been very helpful either. I'd love to lodge a complaint against them too regarding this same case. I've been promised follow-up calls from local store and corporate office where I filed another complaint on 6/23/22. (complaint #: ********) I have called ****** Corporate 4 times since to provide additional information and inquire status of complaint. I'm always promised a return call. I never get one.
