Opensky bank is reporting late payments to the credit bureaus on an account that has been paid in full.I am writing to request that Opensky bank stop sharing my personal information with the credit bureaus. My account was paid in full. I no longer do business with their company, therefore, I do not authorize you to maintain and share my personal information. Opensky Bank is reporting late payments to the credit bureaus and that is a violation of 15 USC 1681a(2)(a)(i). 15 USC 1681a(2)(a)(i) states that transactions are not to be included on a consumer report. Opensky bank has also violated 15 USC 6802 of the Gramm Leach Bailey Act. This law governs the privacy and security of consumer consumer financial information. I never received a nondisclosure option. Financial institutions are required to provide their customers with a privacy notice that explains the customer’s right to opt-out of certain types of information sharing. This is your notice to cease and desist all reporting of my personal and financial information to the credit bureaus. Failure to remove my personal information from your system and cease reporting will result in me escalating this matter to federal court and seeking monetary relief for all violations.
