We hired Jeff to reside our house, build an addition with bathroom expansion/remodel and also a kitchen remodel (which thankfully he never started). He began work in early 2017 and it was contracted to take 6 months and we finally got him out of our lives in the Fall of 2019. It was a big job so he got a lot of money up front. We were then forced to hang onto any bit of hope he gave us, as we desperately tried to break even. We called lawyers but it was clear legal action would only amount to more money being spent. The troubles with Jeff began as soon as he got our first check. He would show up for 3 hours at a time and only a few days a week with excuse after excuse. He'd literally say he was on his way and we wouldn't see him that day or the next and he'd act like everything was fine and dandy. He was often coming and then leaving within an hour, all of which I documented. It was the most stressful experience of my life which is why it took me years to finally write reviews to try to save others from this experience. My heart goes out to anyone who has hired him.
