I am writing to describe an on-going grievous service issue and to request adequate compensation.Hadeed has had my 5 x 8 Chinese oriental rug for over 5 months now, in spite of numerous calls, photos, and e-mails exchanged between us throughout this period. The work was shoddy and not as advertised.You picked up 3 rugs from me on July 6, # ******. This complaint concerns Rug B, which was collected for cleaning and removal of a very small ink stain. I received a call explaining that the ink stain did not come out and would need special treatment consisting of carefully bleaching the stain from the fibers and then re-dyeing them to their original color. She said this was painstaking work by hand and therefore would cost me $450.00 more. I approved the specialized stain removal and paid the $450.00.When the carpet was delivered to my home September 9, 2021, that delicate work had not been done. Instead, someone had cut out an area of the rug surrounding the stained area and patched it with, apparently, material from another rug. The patch was very obvious and did not look at all like the rest of the rug. I refused the rug and stated that I was not satisfied with the job. In spite of calls made since that time, I have heard nothing further, and months have gone by. Thus, I request that the company, "*** Hadeed": 1.Refund my cleaning fee of $195.60 as near as I can tell from the invoice; 2. Refund the additional $450 for the work that was not done and the patch that ruined my carpet; and 3. Replace my carpet with an identical carpet.
