Going-out-of-business sale: PA State laws regulate going-out-of business sales by requiring the business to obtain a license from the local municipality. No goods may be added to the store’s inventory after theapplication is made. Going-out-of business sales can be conducted for no more than 30 days. If all goods have not been disposed of during that time, a business may get one 30-day extension. Before making a purchase, remember that, if a store goes out of business, its warranties may no longer be valid, nor will the merchandise be returnable.

Out of Business
On May 4th, 2011, Andy Pearlman, President, announced his finalized decision to close Lemoyne Sleeper: "After 47 years, merchandise is being liquidated, equipment is being sold, the property is listed for sale and a long-time local manufacturing company is going out of business forever." The company will be working with creditors and a liquidation company to have a going-out-of-business sale. The company can no longer honor warranty claims.
