On February 10th, 2022 I purchased a 2018 Ford ******** ***** from Tom Masano Ford. 3 weeks later on March 3rd, 2022 the car had a dead battery. We had been on vacation and the car sat for 4 days. Jumped the car and it started right back up. Then over the weekend I left it sit for one day and it had a dead battery again. On March 7th, 2022 I called Tom Masano Ford, they scheduled me to bring the car to their service department the next day. March 8th I took the car in to be looked at and they tried to charge me $95 service fee when I had not even had to car for 30days yet. Also, at time of purchase we were told by Maura S**** that the car still had 3,000 mile warranty on it. I did not have the car looked at on March 8th as I thought it was not fair for them to charge me. I called Tom Masano Ford at 8:35AM on March 8th to try to resolve this issue. I had to leave a message for the finance department. At 11:55AM I still had not received a call back so I called them back and spoke with Madi who gave me to Jerry in the finance department. He could not help me with the issue, but did say the warranty was up in January 2022. BEFORE I purchased the car. And again I was NOT told this at time os purchase. Jerry transferred me to Madison in the service department. She tells me they need to look at it first to see if it is under warranty, but again I will have to pay the $95 service fee. She then gives me to Keith who I am told is the service department advisor. He says they will wave the $95 service fee, but I will still have to pay for any work done, even though I was told at time of purchase it still had 3,000 miles left on the warranty! I did speak to my regular mechanic who says the car was definitely doing this while it was on their lot. I did purchase a new battery for it on my own, and the issue is still occurring. There was misinformation given at time of purchase, and Tom Masano Ford does not stand by their customers!
