Complaint: We paid Tibbs Paving $5552.00 to re-pave our driveway including removal, replacement and regrading of driveway so that the garage does not flood (all of which we have in writing on a contract). They did everything except regrade the driveway, and our garage floods literally every time it rains. Thankfully, our garage door has a seal on it so it can keep out some of the water, but not all of it. I have contacted Tibbs Paving on several occasions (first I left a message for each Project Manager, second spoke with the one of the company owners, *** ****, who promised to show up on two separate occasions and never showed up or offered to reschedule. I reached out again with photographic evidence of flooding to try to reach ***** Tibbs (another owner of the company) and was told he does not handle matters such as mine from his daughter, ***** Tibbs, who answers phones. This was an insurance job as we were paid by **** to get it repaired since we had a large tree fall on the driveway and our home during Hurricane Sandy. **** ********, our **** adjuster cannot "speak" to anyone at Tibbs and was just provided with an email address from ***** Tibbs (we know they do not respond to emails so are not optimistic). Please, please help me get this fixed or at least remediated so I can get someone else to fix it.

Desired Settlement: Please repair the driveway so that the garage does not flood as per the contract. If Tibbs is unwilling to do this, please pay me an amount so that I can have another company regrade the driveway so that the garage does not flood as per the contract.

Consumer Response: *** ****** called to indicate that the company came as arranged on the 19th, and corrected the drainage problems on the driveway.  Tested with hose and all looks good.  **. ****** indicated that the issue is resolved.

BBB's Final Determination: Consumer accepted resolution offered by the business.
