We bought our kitchen granite counter top from this company. The problems started from the very beginning. The initial template for the kitchen counter was incorrect. We did not see the initial template - they do not show it to the customer. When they came in to install the granite counter top it came in to pieces. The smaller piece that went up against the pantry had a gap of about 1/4 inch. It was not flush against the pantry. We pointed this out and they took the piece of granite top back to the shop. The installers came back with a piece of granite GLUED TO the end of the original top to cover in the gap!! We did not like the look of it but they glued it down. Once the gluing of the counter top was done we found many mistakes that we pointed out.
1. Biggest mistake is the part of the counter top that has a piece of granite glued to it to fill in the gap between the top and the pantry.
2. There are two pieces of granite glued together for the whole counter top. The bottom seam where the 2 pieces of granite was glued is all jagged and the glue is very visible unlike the small tight seams on the display counters in their showroom!! That is what I expected to get!
1. We would like for them to replace the smaller piece of the granite top that is up against the pantry. We want the granite top ONE piece that takes in consideration the edge of the pantry and to be flush. This part of the granite top that needs to be replaced is less that 3 feet. It is the smallest part of the counter top.
2. We want the seams that connect the two pieces of the counter top to be straight, tight and flush and barely visible - like they are in the showroom!. They are jagged, uneven and you can see the glue in between them. Even the gluing around the backslash is very visible. The whole experience was very difficult with many different justifications from their end that it is a good installation.
