My family has been using Stewart since 1984, but no more! We had to bury our mom and used Stewart on June 2, 2021. - The lady at the front desk (Ms. Jackson) was insensitive and rude when we tried to tell her that their phones won’t connect (now we think they just cut them off); - Ms. Washington sent the Washington post obituary to me to review via email and gave me 1 hour and 3 minutes to catch the mistake of three grand daughters vs 2 grand daughters and a grand son. By the Grace of God I checked my emails and saw it. They refuse to call. Also, She asked us what day we wanted it published in the paper and we said Monday (Memorial Day), but needless to say it wasn’t published until Tuesday! - Then on the day we had to view my mom’s body, Ms Jackson harassed us about our bill that was already paid and handled by their financial advisor. The advisor was on vacation so they couldn’t verify the payment and they misplaced the file with our insurance info. To say the least, we were livid! They realized, called and apologized to us after we left, but what a way to treat someone after viewing their mom’s body - Our Angel. We were so disappointed and disgusted. Afterwards we heard from others that their service has gone down. Yes - exactly
