Additional Notes

Complaint: I contacted Morrison Custom Concrete (MCC) for a estimate and agreed to have them do the work. I hurt my foot, and requested the contract be cancelled prior to any work being started, **** Morrison contacted me and informed me he was willing to do interest free payments for 12 mod to cover the remainder of what was owed, (approx $1850) to which I agreed. The contract specified all tools and equipment would be furnished to complete the job, all the debris would be removed, and all areas would be backfilled with the excavated soil. Upon completion of the job, the siding which MCC had removed was not reinstalled, including a portion of my neighbors siding (we live in a town home). I contacted MCC and they informed me it would all be taking care of. They sent one of their workers out on a Saturday morning to reinstall the siding, and right before he left, he rang our door bell and informed us he cut the siding too short (leaving my neighbors portion bare) and said not to worry, he would be back to fix it. I went out to inspect our siding and found the trim pieces were missing and it was not secured to the wall. 3 weeks elapsed, I contacted MCC again, and they said they haven't forgotten about it, their main priority is to get the concrete jobs completed, which I told them I understand. I contacted them at least 2 other times with basically the same conversation As of Friday, Sept 20, 2013, They came back and attached our siding to the wall, did not install new trim pieces, and fixed my neighbors portion. I immediately called **** and left a message telling him it is unacceptable. I followed up again with **** Morrison on Monday, Sept 23, 2013 and informed him I would like it fixed and he told me he would drop off the trim pieces but will not install them. I told him his worker threw the old ones out, it was attached to our previous concrete stoop and I would like it how it was prior to his company performing any work. He said he will not do anything like that, and we began to argue. I told him he was being unprofessional by giving me the oppurtunity to speak, to which his response was " I am not about to listen to you popping your ******* mouth off, especially when you still ******* owe me money." To Which responded that he did not live up to his end of the contract because the debris (left over concrete and a lot of excavated dirt) was dumped behind my house in the woods, everyday when I came home my electrical breaker that controls the outlet by the stoop was tripped, my hoses were left on, and one of my white hose was covered in gray concrete stain. ANd because of that, I will not pay the remainder (which was to be paid after the job was completed per the signed contract) until the debris is removed and all areas were backfilled properly (under the deck was not.) He told me something to the effect of, "That's fine. I come rip all the ******* work we did up and give you all your ******* money back." I told him to go about it whichever way he feels is best for his company and we hung up. I have since informed my neighbors to call the police if they see his guys ripping any of our concrete up, posted no trespassing signs, and called the police station to inform them of what is going on.

Desired Settlement: I am requesting a $1000 billing adjustment be made to reflect the charges I will have to incur to have the siding repaired to the state it was in prior to his work and to reflect the portion of the contract which was not held up. I would accept completion of the job, but I feel threatened due to the tone of our last phone conversation and DO NOT want him on our property.
