Hi there, I brought my car in December 8 2022 for a clutch job ,the owner ***** quoted me 3400 for a complete clutch job but did not give me any price in writing . I picked up the car on December 13 2022 at around 6pm , he over charged me around $300 because he said the release bearing is extra. I later found out that a release bearing is included in a complete clutch job. I drove the car back to my place which is about 20 miles and I notice my steering made a lot of noise when I got back to my place. The next morning I came out to start my car but it won’t start so I checked my battery and it’s good so I jacked up my car and checked the connections on the starter wire and my ground wire was loose. They didn’t tighten the ground wire when they reconnected the cable because they had to remove the engine and transmission to do the clutch. . When I was under the car I noticed there is a lot of fluid all the way from the front of the car to almost all the way to the back of the car. I took out all the panels under the car and I notice my power steering rack was leaking and the power steering pump in the back of the car where the engine is was also leaking . Fluid was all over the engine bay . The power steering output metal line was loose that where all the fluid squirt out of. The power steering fluid reservoir was totally emptied. I tighten the 19 mm bolt that was holding the line to the power steering pump and tighten all the clamps that was attached to the pump and reservoir. Remember that the technician had to remove the hoses and clamps of the reservoir and pump in order to remover the engine to replace the clutch. I filled the reservoir with fluid and turned on the engine but the pump makes a lot of noise and the reservoir bubble up and fluid would spilled out of the reservoir. So I turned off the engine and I can see the fluid was leaking very heavily out of the back of the power steering pump. I had to towed the car back to the shop .
