Complaint: Earlier last month I responded to a Pepco power watchers ad that stated if I get my a/c tuned up and it passes Pepco's criteria's I can get $100.00 back. From the list of contractors I chose Glenmont Heating and A/C in *********, Md at ###-###-####, The company came out and told me that the tune up is $150.00 but if I pass the efficiency test I would only need to pay $50.00. The tech went out to my unit, after 20 minutes the tech came back in and stated it will be $150.00 because you have a leak so Pepco wont pass your efficiency we have to send a guy out to fix the leak. The tech came out and looked all over: and than "stated I had NO LEAK after that he tried to charge me for that as well. Since than I talked with the mgr. who scheduled me TWICE to come out and repair a low Freon they told me I have witch another tech stated I didn't have and to see if he can get my $100.00 back from Pepco. BUT they NEVER came out

Desired Settlement: to REFUND the $150.00. do to a very deceptive business practice

No actually **** I think Glenmont's state mhic license should be seized by the state until you stop all you deceptive and questionable business practices.

The stated dumnmy proff equipment used was the same equiopoment you told Pepco thjhat was out of calerbration and appairently that's a lie if the equipment is dummy proof in the first place.

First of all there is nothing Deceptive or Misleading about the business practices of Glenmont Heating and A/C. There is no reason whatsoever for our MHIC license to be revoked or suspended. 
 
I have answered the  complaint's/questions presented by you to all the various agencies you have written.  You need to accept the fact that your a/c is low on freon and this is according to its manufacturers specifications. It is because of your behavior that you have not gotten your desired solution.  I am requesting that you stop with your complaints.
