    Hired Transparts to replace tranny on our 2005 Ford explorer, paid in full on 6/17/21 Tranny has a 1 yr. warranty. within hours of getting it back the dash lighted up with all kinds of codes/check engine, O/D off/Check Transmission (keep in mind at no time ever before taking in were there dash codes, the tranny just was slipping) we took it back and they said they replaced a solenoid, well lights were back on Imedi. returned these 5 more times each time they said they cleared the codes and none ever came back for them, at one time they even said they replaced the transmission again. They just kept saying it was other problems and it wasn't the transmission. At this point the Explorer has been out of commission sense we first took it in June of 2021. In January 2022 I decided to take it to another local repair shop to try to get the problem resolved. They were able to Diagnose and repair the Transmission in less then 24 hr. We contacted Transparts to reimburse us as it WAS the transmission that was the issue. They are contacting the people sold them the solenoid pack. That is not our concern as they did not guarantee the transmission installed Transparts did. We would just like to be reimbursed for the repairs to the warrantied transmission which they couldn't fix. called them again on 1/14/22 and they just don't want to take responsibility. We feel a refund is in order due to the number of Months we were without our vehicle and the runaround given by Transparts / 5 trips back and forth to shop for 2 vehicles as we needed transportation home after leaving it with them/ gas involved in their driving it for diagnostics (they said they drove it to Park City). At least the costs of repairs.
