On December 10th 2021, my son had a hospital service in Timpanogos Regional Hospital. The front desk person told us that if we pay the **** before the service, then we don't have to pay it anymore to the hospital and just pay to the rest of the providers. After 7 month, in July of 2022, we suddenly received a letter, that said we still owe this hospital because they did some calculation and what insurance paid them not covering the ****, and we still need to pay them ************************************************************************ December 10th 2021. I called the service department, and the first line of service representative understood our complaint and said she would like to offer us a 20% additional discount of 63 dollars. We rejected the offer, because we think this is a breaking rule the hospital made. Then the call forwarded to a service supervisor, named Robbert. He didn't offer any discount, but said he will submit my complaint, and still let us pay the 63 dollars, without any other solutions. No more escalation, no other solutions. We feel this is cheating and this hospital is a robber. They made a mistake on their estimation but keep sending us bills that we should not pay anymore. The amount of the **** is small, but we can't trust this hospital.
