BBB has received numerous complaints regarding this company rescheduling events and/or canceling events and not providing requested refunds. Complainants state that they signed up for a specific location's run and then subsequently received communication from the company that the run was being cancelled "for logistical" reasons or was being rescheduled for a different city, sometimes many miles from the original location. The complaints further state that there has been difficulty in receiving refunds for these events.
The company has responded to some complaints by providing the requested refunds or referring to their "no refunds" policy available on their website. However, the majority of complaints filed have gone unanswered.
Complaints have also been received from vendors hired to staff events and charities who were to receive part of the portion of the proceeds. These complaints allege that they have not been paid. The BBB doesn't handle complaints regarding non-payment.
