Horrible condescending agents, being threaten with repossession for being 21 days past due. Not willing to work with you .

Ive banked with Deseret first credit Union for almost 7 years. I dont know why I havent left sooner because they are without a shadow of a doubt the most dishonest and difficult financial institution I have ever worked with. Ive had multiple fees on my car loan I have had to have fixed that would continue to show up after every few months. It took me going to a much higher up and threatening to *** to get them to officially stop adding it. Theyd admit it wasnt supposed to be there, apologize then a few months later the fees would show up again! The car loan isnt the only one. Multiple times on my credit card and my checking account I have had different charges or fees that were wrong. I wish I could write it all but it would take too long. But overall I realized the bank didnt make me feel that my finances were secure. Not because it seemed unsecure from the outside but from the inside. They also have awful customer service that is extremely difficult to get ahold of and when they answer its a call center. You cant talk to anyone at the branch and so the typical call center stereotype is filled with people who dont care too much to figure things out for you.I have 3 others I know who have had similar issues with them. After 2 car loans, a credit card, a personal loan and a checking and savings account with them, I am officially leaving. Its taking me far too long but its been hard with having so much of my bills with them. For an institution that is supposed to be based off of serving the *** community, they sure are not very ethical. I will never recommend them to anyone and I am glad to leave them and go back to an old bank of mine that never made me feel nervous about whether they were being honest with me or not.I am filing a complaint with the district attorneys office and hoping to have them looked into. Its long overdue

Deseret First Credit Union is the WORST bank I have ever used. I borrowed money to pay off my car just so I no longer had to deal with them. Their customer service is horrible and the people there are rude. They took advantage of me the entire time I was with them. Constantly trying to say I owed more then I did. I had to re-send the same proof of insurance for over a year before they finally agreed to take off the fee's they said I owed for not having insurance and as soon as it would get fixed the next month they would say they needed proof again. I am not the only who this has happened to. My brother and cousin have both experienced the same thing. I am not one to leave a review but I fully believe this is a complete scam going on with Deseret First and if you are not watching your account each month you will end up paying thousands off dollars more then you actually own. They are dishonest and I would advise every person to rethinking taking a loan out or doing business with them. *************************
