Warning: Free Subway Gift Card Scam on Facebook, Web

There is a scam floating around the web today offering a free Subway gift card for just clicking on a 'Like' Facebook button. We just verified with Subway that is is in deed a scam and is not affiliated with Subway by any means. The URL for the fake site is: http://www.footlongspromotion.com/

Do not click on these buttons as it's likely the scammer would get your Facebook password. If you have clicked on these links, as a precaution you should change your password. The site also tries to collect your credit card info after you get through a few pages.

GOT A TEXT ON MY CELL PHONE FROM 216-526-1601 STATING TO PLEASE CALL 877-770-0961. 'WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU WITH A GIFT CARD AND GAS REBATE.' SHOWED: TEXT NO FOR REMOVAL I DIDN'T RESPOND CAUSE SEEMS LIKE A SCAM. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M BEING THANKED FOR AND HAVE NO IDEA WHO IT IS.

ii got scammed terribly the other day clicking on that free $250 visa card by answering survey questions. then u have to ''''buy Trial Versions" of certain products, which u get charged ALOT for if u dont return by certain date--which is right quick!!---& then one of them, wi./o saying --i read very fine print--charged my carf TWICE for $49.00. my bank & i trying to dispute it . i never reach end eithr, they bumb u off & u never can go back at all, just stuck wi. things u say u will try out. scam scam scam.

You may want to change your Facebook password if you were logged into Facebook at the time you clicked on the links. Otherwise, you should be fine.

I clicked until it said I HAD to choose one of the offers to receive my prize. I then left the site. am I safe or should I do more?
