Use Caution When Selecting a Gym

When it comes to complaints being filed at BBB, health clubs are high on the list.

The majority of the time, the complaints are related to the contracts these gyms offer. When a gym closes or files for bankruptcy, the situation can often leave the consumer either out of money or having to travel several miles to another gym where their membership was transferred to.

So how can you protect yourself when joining a gym and signing a contract? WRAL chats with Beverly Baskin, who heads the Better Business Bureau of Eastern North Carolina to provide you with tips.
