Toyota Brand and Consumer Confidence Drops After Recall

The recent massive vehicle recall issued by Toyota a few weeks ago has hurt its image, according to Newswire.

Consumers who were considering buying a Toyota before the recall are no longer considering so. That's more than 20%.   The Toyota brand dropped to third-place and currently trails behind its rivals, Ford and Chevrolet. 

Also, Toyota's safety rating has dropped from 8.4 to 7.6%.  Despite the recall, consumers are still confident that Toyota will able to bounce back and create even better cars in the future.
