If you're a new parent, you know how important it is to document your baby's first moments. The Better Business Bureau of St. Louis is warning parents and would-be parents to be cautious of doing business with Baby Love Photography and its owner, according to
Globe Democrat.
The BBB has received numerous complaints about the company, mostly regarding the delivery of photography packages. The company has been unresponsive to the complaints and received an “F” rating with the BBB. Customers tried to reach the company about the undelivered photographs with no avail and according to the BBB, the space where Baby Love Photography is presumably located was never rented by them.
A majority of the parents are more upset over the loss of the photographs than their money, however, because the pictures document the early days of their babies.
Parents can avoid being scammed by taking pictures themselves using their own camera, but if parents still want to go the professional route, make sure to vet the company you plan to hire with your local BBB or check out them online at:
bbb.org.
Consumers can also check out
BBB’s reliability report online or download the
BBB’s Accredited Business Locator so you can avoid being scammed.
