Old Appliance Could = Rebate Check This Fall

If you missed the Cash for Clunkers deadline, don’t fret; the next economic stimulus program is on the horizon: “Cash for Appliances.” This Federal Government program is gearing up to kick in this fall with $300 million in set aside to give to consumers who trade-in old appliances for new energy-efficient models. Rebate checks will be issued that can be used to cover everything from refrigerators and dishwashers to furnaces and air conditioners.
