Nintendo Wii To Get Netflix

Posted Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in Computers-Internet-Technology

Next spring, Nintendo Wii users will be able to install Netflix on their gaming counsel, according to Tech Flash.

Microsoft was the first game counsel maker to offer Netflix streaming. Instead of ordering a DVD online and waiting the two or three weeks it takes to get to your house, Wii users will be able to order a Netflix disc for free via mail to be installed on the Wii counsel. After install, they can stream movies on demand on their TV.

The service will be available free to Wii users who subscribe to Netflix's mail-order movie rental package for $8.99 per month.
