Line2, a new mobile app, allows iPhone users to separate personal and business calls, according to Yahoo! Finance.
What it does is add a second line to your phone plan so you can have one phone number for friends and family, and one for business. The second line can be a 1-800 number or you can transfer an existing number.
Users can place calls over WiFi and 3G Voice Over that:
- Literally separates your personal and business contacts in separate tabs.
- Automatically sorts incoming calls based on context.
- The web control panel allows users to transfer calls and set up forwarding call rules.
- Supports up to 20 participants.
- Conference calls can be done over regular voice, Wi-Fi connection, or 3G Voice Over (means, you can be in a low service area and still have strong wireless connection)
The Line2 app is available in the Apple App Store for $0.99, which includes a 30-day-free trial of full service. If customers like it, the fee is $14.95 per month to use.
