Miami Herald Asks For Voluntary Payments

This past Tuesday, The Miami Herald started asking avid readers to voluntarily pay to read content on their site, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.   

Readers can pay via credit card which goes towards increasing revenue from online operations. The Miami Herald and other online newspapers have had double-digit decreases in revenue and readership in recent years.
