Borders Group Inc. has confirmed hiring a law firm to protect it from being forced into bankruptcy, the Detroit News reported.
What does that mean for you? If you have an unused Borders gift card ... get to the nearest store and use it soon. If the company files for bankruptcy, consumers could see the value on their cards wiped clear.
