Google to Launch New Music Service?

Google Music? That's right. TechCrunch's blog reported that Google has had discussions with major music labels to provide a new music service called Google Music.

Not much is known, so it's hard to say whether this will be a service like Pandora or one like iTunes and what it will cost (if anything).

A tantalizing glimpse at a new service. The combination of Google's all-encompassing search engine power with the ability to find music may lead to me finding some of those antiquated and hard-to-locate songs.
