Travelers this holiday season will be able to receive free WiFi at 47 airports starting today.

Who is making this possible? Google Inc. is.

According to the San Jose Business Journal, the Mountain View Internet search giant said travelers will also be able to connect to the Web for free at Las Vegas, Boston, Baltimore, Burbank, Houston, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Charlotte.

"This is one of our holiday gifts to our users, and when you connect, we also hope you'll take the opportunity to try some of the latest Google products," the Google said in a statement.

The free service runs through Jan. 15.
