Google Opens OneBox Music Service

Earlier this month, google announced that they were going to launch a new music site. According to BBC News online, google has unveiled that service, called OneBox, only available to US residents. OneBox allows users to search song titles, artists or using snippets of lyrics and stream tracks.

If you have MySpace, a OneBox widget allows you to download mp3’s, see music video information and find out about upcoming concerts.  Google’s competitor, Apple, dominates the online music market.
