FTC Releases Guide to Help Parents Reduce Online Risks for Children

Kids and parents have many ways of socializing and communicating online, but they come with certain risks.  The FTC released a new guide -- Net Cetera -- that encourages parents to reduce the risks by talking to kids about how they communicate.  This includes online and off, helping kids engage in conduct they can be proud of.

Net Cetera covers what parents need to know, where to go for more information, and issues to raise with kids about living their lives online.

You can view the guide by clicking here.

Thanks so much for letting people know about Net Cetera! I wanted to tell your readers that they can order as many free copies of the guide as they can use from http://bulkorder.ftc.gov. It’s available in English and in Spanish. Thanks again –
