U.S. Federal Marshall's seized unapproved FDA products from Wisconsin manufacturer Beehive Botanicals, according to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
Beehive Botanicals claims their honey and jelly products treat or prevent common medical conditions like asthma, ulcers, cancer, liver, kidney disease, and insomnia and skin disorders. Since the products are not verified by the FDA, the Wisconsin company was in violation of federal law.
The Office of the Attorney General for Wisconsin filed for the seizure last month.
