Fandango Launches Mobile Ticket App

The biggest hassle about going to the movies is often waiting in line to buy tickets.  Not anymore for fandango mobile users, according to Tech Crunch.

Fandango is launching a new mobile ticket app that lets movie fans go paperless. Your ticket is delivered to your mobile phone as a barcode, which can then be scanned by ticket takers. Only a limited number of movie theaters across the country are participating because movie theaters need to equip their theaters with special scanners to read the mobile tickets.

Movietickets.com is testing a similar app.
