Discounts to Prepay Health Clubs Not Always a Good Idea

A lot of health clubs and gyms are expensive but if you do join, you want to make sure you get what you pay for in that upfront fee. Nowadays, a lot of gyms offer discounted prices to new members.  This sound like a good deal and probably is, but there are a few things you should ask for you join your local health and fitness clubs, according to ABC San Diego.

Before paying that initial membership fee, you should ask what happens when you lose your job and you cannot pay the monthly fee. If your membership cannot be used at other gym locations, can you be reimbursed? But most importantly, if the gym closes, will your membership be acceptable at other gym locations?
