LightSquared, a company building a nationwide 4G network, has received its first customer, reports the Washington Business Journal.
Leap International Inc., based in San Diego, has made a long-term roaming agreement to use the wholesale-only 4G network. Cricket, Leap’s operating subsidiary, will be able to back up the coverage it plans to organize across its own network with roaming services from LightSquared. Terms of the agreement were not released.
