A credit card skimming device was found Monday on a gas station pump in Vancouver.
Vancouver law enforcement said the device had been plugged into the wiring behind the panel of a gas pump at a 7-Eleven, KPTV Portland reported. It didn't interfere with customers' ability to purchase gas and it was well hidden, according to officers.
A 7-Eleven employee found the skimmer. How long it was there is unknown and it's unclear if any credit card info was downloaded by the crooks.
