If you need to pay a bill, you either do it online, via snail mail or by phone. Now many companies are starting to charge if you pay-by-phone, according to

Not everyone has Internet access so paying by phone is the most convenient option. For some, the idea of paying online can be scary because of spyware, scareware and viruses. How much are the fees if you pay-by-phone? $4 or more.
It's important to note that not every company is following the new trend. American Express, Sprint, Verizon and Nordstrom are the last pay-by-phone holdouts.
