Comcast Raising Fees

If you have high speed internet from Comcast, you're going to see your bill increase $2 this fall unless you have your own modem.

The company announced it's raising the monthly lease fee for all cable modems to $5 nationwide, according to Multichannel News. The increase is a 66-percent jump over the present $3 monthly fee.

Comcast says the spike will offset some of their large costs for acquiring new expensive equipment that will benefit customers.
