Chuck E. Cheese recalled over one million light-up rings and over one hundred thousand star glasses yesterday in a voluntary recall. If the rings or glasses are pulled apart or crushed, the plastic casing can break and possibly expose the batteries creating a risk of ingestion for children.
The light-up rings were sold in Chuck E. Cheese restaurants from April 2009 through June 2010. Consumers should stop using the light-up rings and return them to any Chuck E Cheese to receive a refund of $1.00 and four Chuck E. Cheese tokens or a Soccer Promo-Cup and four Chuck E. Cheese tokens.
