Cable Company Overcharges Customers: Are You Affected?

Charter Communications announced on Monday that they overcharged their Upstate customers on their recent bill, according to Channel 7 News.

Affected consumers will see a credit of between $1 and $1.50 on their next bill, depending on their service. The company said that they found the error and have set up steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.  Fortunately, there are steps consumers can do to make sure their bills are accurate, such as track charges on their bill.   If for some reason, there's a charge you do not recognize, you can call your cable company and get a refund.
