Sites like freecreditreport.com allow users to put in their personal information and pay a fee so they can access their credit report, according to

At a glance, it looks like a legitimate company because they have a commercial and a website but consumers should be asking themselves: why do I have to pay to look at my credit report from an outside source when I have free access to my credit report already?
Consumers should be very wary of outfits like freecreditreport.com mostly because they are an outside, third party with access to your information which can be abused and possibly lead to identity theft.
