BBB’s “Secure Your ID” Day Shreds Nearly a Million Pounds of Materials

Nearly 13,000 vehicles descended on 53 sites across the U.S. Saturday, April 16, all filled with boxes and bags of sensitive documents to be shredded free of charge during Better Business Bureau’s seventh “Secure Your ID” Day community service event. A tremendous success, BBB saw consumers and small business owners from 20 states deliver more than 900,800 lbs (450.4 tons) of materials for safe, responsible destruction.
