BBB Aims To Protect Military From Scams

The Better Business Bureau is taking a firm stand, protecting the military and their families from bad loans scams, according to 10 News.

Sadly, military members are easy prey for scammers because of their age and guaranteed government paycheck. Most of these bad loans are found on the Internet, and too many servicemen are being taken advantage of.  

Holly Petraeus, Director of BBB Military Line, recently spoke at San Diego's BBB's Torch Awards and encouraged businesses to think about the way they treat military customers in time of war.

I hope business people, the BBB and the armed forces are working to protect the armed forces from scammers in other locations where there are major bases such as Honolulu, HI; Pensacola, FL; Norfolk, VA or New London, CT along with the various armed force bases around the world. This is an important issue that should not be taken lightly.
