Amtrak Announces Free WiFI

Free WiFi connection is coming soon to Amtrak, according to Wired.

The free WiFi will become available on Amtrak's Acela Express high speed trains in March. Though initially free, that may change later due to customer feedback. In addition to free wifi, Amtrak also announced that they will be upgrading their trains. With this announcement, Amtrak hopes that revenue will increase to $4.3 million in the next five years and plans to spend an extra $26.2 million to add WiFi to other Amtrak services.
