This past Tuesday, Amtrack announced that they are extending their Northeast Regional fare promotion service between Washington, D.C., New York and Boston.

The promotion takes 25% off the coach fare and is available through March 31st, next year.  If you plan to travel Amtrack, reservations must be made 14 days in advance as seats are limited.

Also, the reduced fares are not available whenever you want to travel. They won't be available on November 24-25, November 28-30, December 17-23, December 26-30, January 3-4, February 12, and February 15.

There is also an additional 25 percent off fares for services south of Washington, D.C. to Newport News, on service between Springfield, Mass. and Washington, D.C., between Philadelphia and New York and along the Northeast Corridor.
