Airlines Baggage Fees Expected to Continue For Domestic Flights

Five major domestic airlines: American, Continental, Delta, United and US Airways have all increased their baggage fees which are expected to bring billions to the struggling airline industry, according to The Business Journal of Milwaukee

How many billions? $1.8 billion to be exact and baggage fees is not likely to go away anytime soon, since the practice is expected to continue this year and beyond.  The only airline to advertise “bags fly free” is Southwest.
