Airline Industry to Lose $11 Billion

Airline business leaders try to look for the positive after hearing from the International Air Transport Association Tuesday that losses will likely total $11 billion in 2009.

Analysts expect industry revenue to fall 15 percent in 09, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Thing have gotten better since the recession began, but airlines are still suffering because of the heavy discounts they've been offering to keep seats filled.
