Airline Creates New Seating Class to Accommodate Couples, Small Families

Traveling long distances can be a pain, especially when there is no room to move around. However, beginning next year there will be a "cuddle class" for passengers who want more room. This "cuddle class" will only be available on the Boeing 777-300 aircraft and in flights from Los Angeles to Auckland and London.

Having more convenient seating options attracts couples or small families with young children. The upgraded seating will be priced as 2 economy seats plus half price for the third seat. These seats will have the ability to lay down flat into a bed or recline into a couch. According to AOL News, this "Skycouch" will be adopted by Air New Zealand to improve the trans-pacific experience.
