A Boston-based consumer watchdog group, World Against Toys Causing Harm came out with their ‘Top 10 Worst Toys” list yesterday, according to
KOMO News.
The list includes Dark Knight Batman Action Figure, an X-Men Slashin’ Action Wolverine, A Disney-Pixar Wall-E Rocket Launcher and a Curious George Counting Book and was singled out by the group because of dangerous parts.
The main concern of these toys is that many of the parts are detachable, making them choking hazards, or in the case of Pluff-Stuffed Pucci Pup, strangulation.
WATCH advises parents who already have these toys in their homes, to supervise their children’s playtime. In addition to detachable parts, parents should also watch out for sharp projectiles, breakable rope, string or ribbon, and elastic cord or springy parts that could snap back into a child's face or cause bodily harm.
