10 Ways You Can Save for Your Baby's Future

Life for first time parents can be crazy but if you’re financial smart from the beginning, you can end up saving thousands or more for your child’s future, according to Fiscal Geek.

Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to give your infant or baby expensive things to make them happy. Fiscal Geek counts down 10 baby products you and your baby can do without.

The Baby Wipe Warmer. It shouldn’t matter to you or your baby if the baby wipe used to clean after him or her isn’t warm. Either way, the wipes are going to be thrown away afterward so why do you need to throw away your money as well?  Savings: $23.99

A Reclining High Chair. Your baby does not need to sleep while it’s eating - not mention the fact that is a probable choking hazard.   Savings: $201.

A $300+ Stroller System. Complex Strollers can be expensive but it’s not necessary. A basic, inexpensive stroller is better.
Savings: $140.

Other items on the list include anything by Peg Perego (Savings: $148), a Temperpedic Adjustable Crib (Savings: $200), the Noah’s Ark Tweed Diaper Bag (Savings: $50), a baby changing table (Savings:  $125), a White Noise Generator (Savings: $30), mini van (Savings: $25,000) and finally, a larger house with a savings of $200,000+.

'and finally, a larger house with a savings of $200,000+.'

That made me smile.
