Role of BBB
BBB is the only business organization whose purpose is to advance trust across the marketplace.
Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) is the national umbrella organization that provides the:
i) Strategic vision and leadership for the BBB brand, products and services,
ii) Oversight for five dedicated industry self-regulation programs serving the corporate community,
iii) Thought leadership to identify new opportunities for self-regulation solutions and to collaborate with industry to develop, and
iv) Capacity support for nation-wide BBB activities that advance marketplace trust on the community level.

The relationship between CBBB and the corporate community is anchored on shared goals and collaborative strategies. Specifically:
i) Advancing marketplace trust,
